This template is to be used for musicians, performers, presenters or speakers where the payment/honoraria amount is $301 or more.
If no payment is given, then no contract is required.
If the one time payment/honoraria is $300 or less, and the speaker's material isn't copyrighted, and you don't plan to record them, then no contract is required.
If, over the course of the year, the speaker or performer accumulates $600 or more in payment/honoraria, then a W-9 form must be submitted to the Accounting department. You will be contacted if a W–9 form is required.
