Preapproval for New Contracts

  • If you know you will be entering into a contract, but you don't yet know the commercial terms (cost, dates and number of students) of the contract, you can still have it approved by the Legal Department.
    • For example, if you know you will be renting from a specific apartment complex, but you don't know how many students will be staying in one apartment, or the rental cost of the unit, you can send in a blank rental contract to Legal to have it approved as a contract template.
  • Send in template contracts at least 4 weeks before the contract start date (or even earlier, whenever possible).
  • Submit the template contract to your Regional Directoror Regional Contract Administrator. They will then submit these contracts using the appropriate routine contract submission form.
  • Once the contract has been approved, and once you have the commercial terms (cost, dates and number of students), you can send the filled-in contract (with commercial terms) in to be signed via the Safe Harbors repeat contract process.
